Lauryn currently works as a Clinical Trial Patient Recruitment Associate, where she supports the screening, recruitment, and retention of participants in clinical research studies. In this role, she plays a key part in ensuring trials meet and exceed enrolment targets by engaging patients and facilitating informed participation, while leading community outreach to improve ethnic minority representation.

She holds a degree in Medical Physiology from the University of Manchester, where she developed a strong foundation in human biology, research methodology, and data analysis. Her final-year research project explored the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and fibroid prevalence in Black and minority ethnic women, reflecting her commitment to addressing health inequalities.

She has experience in health communication, community engagement, and patient-facing roles within healthcare settings. She has a strong interest in contributing to the Patient and Public Advisory Board and supporting patient and public involvement in shaping research. She aspires to progress within the clinical research field, with a focus on improving representation and participation in research, and is committed to supporting inclusive, patient-centred research practices.
